PM MAY PROMISED TO CONTROL IMMIGRATION IN 2014 Update Dec 2018

Update Dec 2018 - now in 2018 Home Office Secr Sajid Javid discovers UK  has a immigration problems because about 100 people were found to land illegally along Dover's Coast.

Theresa May promised when she was Home Office Secretary and now again as the new Prime Minister to control immigration and the UK's border. Will the miracle happened?

These were his very words:

“With us, our borders will be under control and immigration will be at levels our country can manage.  No if, No buts. That’s a promise we made to the British people, and it’s a promise we are keeping”

That was in 2011 where immigration was already running high.

UK is not even in the Schenken Free Movement because they do not use the euro.

So why is Mr Cameron not closing or control the borders?

Even last year David Cameron knew that the borders of Romania and Bulgaria were to be opened in January 2014 and floods of immigrant were to come to Britain. Despite of his great promise David Cameron and his Cabinet did nothing to forestall it. Now the Office for National Statistics revealed that migration topped 260,000 in the last year till June 2014.  Needless to say they are the official numbers. There must be just as many illegal immigrants entered the UK.

It is not unusual and the voters are getting quite used to it that any promise David Cameron makes is seldom kept.  However, this fact of 260,000 which is the difference between people moving into Britain and out has even got David Cameron worried.  After all he lost heavily in the last two by-elections and UKIP’s leader Nigel Farage gained two seats in Parliament.  It is surprising that UKIP won because their politics on a whole keeps changing quicker than the wind. His anti-immigration politic is a bit controversial since Mr Farge’s ancestors came from France and he is married to a German wife.  No racial insults meant but if you are not from this country you do not have a politic of stopping immigrants altogether which is in his election manifesto unless he has changed it again.

Labour is a bit more steady in their promises and it is in their election manifesto to reduce net migration to 100,000.

Shadow Home Secretary Yvette Cooper said: “David Cameron’s net migration target has been ripped to shreds.”

Keith Vaz, chairman of the Commons Home Affairs select committee, added: “This is a final nail in the coffin of the Government’s pledge.”

Tories losing votes to UKIP by the hundreds if not thousands in the recent months because Mr Farage keeps also promising but mostly changes his mind conveniently but voters can not see it. Trying to rescue the situation David Cameron held a speech in the Midlands in which he promised to introduce tougher measures to discourage people moving to Britain.  Abroad it is widely known that Britain is a soft touch for benefits and such like.

He will introduce migrant will be banned from receiving a range of benefits for four years, under a new regime which would be the toughest in Europe and represent a “red line” if Britain is to stay in the EU.

It will also stop money to be sent for children of immigrants not living in this country

It will also stop immigrants to bring their family over to the UK.

It is all very well but it should have been introduced months if not years ago. It also has to be said that it is again a promise from David Cameron but will it come true? He can rush through the sale of the Royal Mail and the gagging order of the press but will he rush this bill through just as fast? Even then it is far too late for hundreds of thousand of immigrants.

If it would be established it certainly will stop a lot of migrants and also the people are already here would change their mind.

This article is not racially motivated but the UK is only a small island and the rate people keep pouring in, it becomes suffocating.  People who are on the housing list waiting for years by now to get a council accommodation.  Hospitals are under great financial strain and therefore more immigrants would make it collapse. Schools are bursting full.  The UK, like any other country, can only take so many immigrants.  All these social problems are reaching a point where it goes past the limit.
