NEW HEAD DWP SECRETARY ESTER McVEY Update 1 Feb., 2018

It is the fifth change since 2016 when Theresa May became Prime Minister. David Gauke was replaced by Ester McVey. She was working with Ian Duncan Smith introducing the devastating Spare Bedroom Tax over which many people lost their homes. She also voted for a reduction of Disability Benefits. 4,000 lost their lives by starvation and suicide. As a thank you she got the Top Job.

It is feared she will be devastating but, of course, it is May's and Tories majority desire.

4 million children already living poverty and half of them parents working in a country 7th wealthiest in the world.

Homelessness, sleeping and dying on the street increased over 50 per cent in the last two years.

Update 12 Oct., 2017 - the new head of DWP is David Gauke and will roll out Universal Credit despite many objections. The problem is that people have to wait 6 weeks for their payments; being benefit their only income what does May think they live on. When questioned by Labour Leader Corbyn she replied there is an emergency phone number to asked for money in advance. People are down on their last penny yet they charge 55p per minute and also knowing the Government will they give money enough to prevent starvation or losing the home? Besides all the procedure is looney. Why not give the money straight away!!

Update 8 October, 2016 -- New Department Works and Pension Secretary Damian Green. He praised Ian Duncan Smith who introduced Bedroom Tax, cut endless benefits,  Disability Benefits, ESA by £30 per week and paid out £44million bonuses to himself and staff. IDS tried to introduce a new system "Universal System" costs £500million for new computer system and £1million a year for temp staff and after 3 years still not working. Mr Green praises him; no improvement.

After bringing 2,500 disabled people to suicide they now start to cut pension and benefits.

UPDATE 18 August, 2016
The new Prime Minister Theresa May replaced Mr Crabb with no other than Piti Patel who had been in a big expense scandal adding up over the years to £950.000. She has to answer to Ian Duncan Smith.  Its scandalous!!!!

UPDATED: 16 Aril, 2016 -- In a speech recently he mentioned that the people in the UK should be living a live of luxury. Will he be turning the situation of poverty, starvation and homelessness round?

After coming out of obscurity and springing into the lime light as the new head of the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) we had to find out who this Stephen Crabb actually is?

One thing came straight into focus he is a total committed Tory. This conclusion came from the fact that he voted for the disability cuts weeks before he was announced as the new head. Apparently he never voted against the Government so far.It also convinces us that he is no improvement to Ian Duncan Smith who ran the people and disabled into utter poverty.

Mr Crabb already announced that he will continue the Universal Credit reform which tells you everything about the man.

Before Stephen Crabb put his “Yes” vote for the cuts on Disabled benefit did he ever look into the impact of his decision or read the objection from various charities? Disabled people already straggling not only physical but also financially. You can see them in clothes washed more than a dozen times. Many disabled people still pushing their wheelchairs manually instead of having an electrical wheelchair. Their faces tell that they are not having the proper diet and skimping as best they can to feed themselves.

Another crippling factor is the Spare Bedroom Tax introduced by Ian Duncan Smith.

Since disabled people are more or less housebound they need a spare bedroom for either extra equipment or families or friends to sleep over. Disabled people should be exempt from Bedroom Tax.

Are 2,400 suicides or starvations not enough a message loud and clear for the head of the DWP?  These people fought heroically all their lives with everyday struggles but when their money was reduced or withheld, they could not go on anymore. If that does not knock on any conscious of the Government, what does?

By the looks at the few facts about Stephen Crabb it is doubtful there will be any improvements.

Now Chancellor George Osborne living in all the luxury announced a £1,500 pa  cut which means a £30 cut per week and Mr Crabb plus other 308 Tories voted for it.  At the same time Mr Osborne gave a tax reduction to the corporations which do not pay the full taxes anyway but the Chancellor or Treasury will not go after them.

The reason is that they are all donor to the Tory Party and most of them are in tax haven including families of the Government. But to retrieve the debts from Welfare by announcing £12billion cuts, after already 40 per cent cuts since 2010, is criminal.

According to records Mr Crabb is a patron of the disabled charity MENCAP and will now have to resign. However, the most contradicting fact is that he voted for the £1,500 pa disability cut, which is devastating to already more than disadvanced people, and at the same time being a patron of Mencap.

The principles of politicians today leave one speechless.

Another fact of Stephen Crabb’s principles and character is that he is closely associated with a religious group who believe they can “cure gays”. It is certainly an odd outlook and not everybody’s opinion, especially the medical .

Under Duncan Smith 3million people’s benefits were withdrawn for all but no reasons at all. Seven Families fight the disability cuts and Spare Bedroom Tax in court and so far DWP spent £250,000 on lawyers.

Ian Duncan Smith’s reforms cost the taxpayers far more than it saves plus he rewarded himself and staff with a £44million bonus last year. Chancellor George Osborne and the Treasury did not stop him there neither Mr Cameron.

Not being bias but the Tory politics is a shamble hurting the poor and disabled and the only option the public has is to vote Labour on the coming Local Election on 5 May. Mr Corby seems to go back to the old principles where people matters and they are not there to be trampled on.
