NEW TRIAL ON WORLD CENTER ATTACK NEW YORK

A new report in the Guardian newspaper revealed the evidence for the defence was destroyed under the order of Army Colonel James
Pohl who preside over the 9/11 attack case as judge.

The judge overseas the premier military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. The accused is
Knalid Sheikh Mohammed and his co-defendants of the 9/11 attack on World Centre, New York.

Judge
Pohl, apparently, together with the prosecution permitted the administration to destroy the evidence.

The accusation comes in a 10 May defence filing that the military commission have recently unsealed. Its contents significant details about an episode that
Mohammed attorneys say has permanently tainted the most high-profile test on the US's post 9/11 turning toward military justice for terrorism cases.

"First they tell us they will not show us the evidence but they will show our lawyers. Now they don't even show the lawyers. Why don't they just kill us?" said Mr
MOhammed, who faces execution if found guilty.

Mr Mohammed's attorney argue since the evidence was secretly destroyed, the case should cancelled.
They add further: "Whatever legitimate national security interest might purportedly justify the near-Star chamber proceeding that have riven the case, there can be no articulately excuse for so clearly misleading Mr Mohammed's counsel and prevent them from seeking remedies to prevent the destruction of crucial evidence."

According to the defence, six months after Judge
Pohl issued an evidence preservation order then judge ordered to destroy the evidence. It was the result of a secret communication between the government and Judge Pohl without the knowledge of the defence

Who is really behind it and mostly interested in preventing justice?.

There are a lot of dark corners surrounding the 9/11 attack and had been spoken of for many years.
To destroy evidence which the defence has a right to see it, is way out.

No matter what the accusation is the accused has a right t
o be defended democratically especially in such a high-profile case.

How can a defence put up a case without seeing all the evidence first?

There are also accusations that the FBI had been spying on the defence.

Pretrial hearing will start this week and Judge
Pohl is still in charge of it.

If America goes ahead with that kind of court procedure it will have a very shameful and undemocratic outcome. America always talks about democracy and enforces it in other countries, even by war. Yet, when it comes to the USA it is a different story.
