TOP ELITE ACCOUNTS FROM PANAMA TAX HAVEN LEAKED Updated 11 May, 2016

All the accounts are on the Internet now!!! Has it died a natural death again like all the other scandals because the "Elite" is involved.

PM David Cameron faces questions of his shares and taxes in Panama but now it was decided there will be no inquiry as requested by Labour.

Icelandic people went on the street and had their PM out within 24 hours while Cameron, and his 'Elite' gets away again and causes more damages to the country and its people.

My Point of View:  It would be a big surprise if UK politicians are named and heads are rolling, especially at the very top

All these days Mr Cameron denied being involved with his Father's account in Panama but today he admitted he and his wife had shares in it but sold them in 2010 and paid all the taxes. What about British Virgin Islands which is the biggest tax haven of them all?

From one of the world’s most secretive company MOSSACK FONSECA in Panama 11 million documents had been leaked.

Panama is one of many tax havens for the most richest to hide their money. It was such a massive leak that may of the top elites will be worried. Will they reveal it all?

The leaked papers prove Mossack Fonseca helped the richest people to launder, dodge and sanction money to avade taxes.

The company said: “It has operated beyond reproach for 40 years and has never been charged with criminal wrong doing.”

The data show 72 current or former heads of state, including dictator’s accounts of looting their own countries. The very fact that there were also dictators’ accounts does not make them look so innocent.  On the other hand, so called democratic leaders are also not innocent from looting money from their own country.

The documents came into the hands of the German newspaper Sueddeutche Zeitung and were passed on to the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
BBC Panorama and The Guardian newspaper are part of the 107 organisations in 78 countries that had been analysing the documents. The BBC does not know the identity of the source that provided them.

In my personal opinion it is hoped they never will. The whistle blowers had to suffer and still suffer only because they told the truth about the dirty dealings going on.

These documents are papers fro Panama tax haven of the rich and powerful. It covers every business of Mossack Fonseca during the last 40 years.

Gerard Ryle, director of ICIJ, said: “I think the leak will prove to be probably the biggest the offshore world has ever taken because of the extent of the documents.”

So far we were straight away informed the Russian, including Putin, Egyptian, Syria Mr Assad, Pakistan PM Ayad Allawi, former vice president of Iraq, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko and Iceland Sigmundur Davio Guneaugsson were involved.  We have not heard about any other leaders from the USA or West.  Do we believe they are all straight and honest leaders never to siphon off a penny to a tax have? It is unbelievable.

Hold on a minute they mentioned six members of the House of Lords and three former Conservative MPs and dozens of donors to the UK political parties have offshore assets. Why were they not named like the other people? Will it be swept under the Westminster carpet or hoped in time it will all be forgotten?

With today's well informed public it does not do any longer with the decades old finger pointing to Russia or other countries. The USA and West have also a mountain of dirt on their doorstep

Since a laundering ring was exposed and ran by Mr Putin's closest friend but no USA or Western names of politicians or leaders it raises suspicion if the sudden exposure has not a purpose of discredit Mr Putin or all the others named?  Is it to believe  the USA and West have all clean vests?

PM David Cameron has promised to “sweep away” tax secrecy but it turned out to be another broken promise. He is now planning a summit of world leaders next month, which will focus on the conduct of tax haven. Has his chair starting to wobble and why such a massive effort of a summit of worlds’ leaders?

He did not call for a summit of the worlds’ leader for the steel industry?

UK 'HONOURABLE' HOUSE OF LORDS Update 18 Sept., 2020

Update 18 Sept., 2020 - Theresa May added another load and New PW Johnson, in the last list, announced 36 more to be in the House of Lord. By now they are over 800 with 650 MPs in the House of Commons it is the second biggest Gov after China. The real number of Peers is kept secret.

The Freedom of Speech - Freedom of Press - Freedom of Information has been cut down and is controlled started with Cameron. It is always the first step towards Dictatorship

UPDATE: 19 May, 2016 --
David Cameron plans to curb the power of the House of Lords because they turned down 19 bills of his in the last year. Curbing the HoL is not democracy anymore. It is becoming a dictatorship. Already he passes bills through without debates and votes.

To start with the House of Lords has been overcrowded for years and recently it was renovated to seat them all This cost the taxpayers over £1million which was crossly contradicting at a time when the government demanded austerity.

At the same time the House of Lords was asked to combine the restaurant with the House of Common which would have saved a great amount. Of course, it was turned down because the champagne was not the top quality as in the House of Lords. So much so for the care and consideration from the Lords about taxpayers’ money who have to survive on hand-outs from food banks to survive.

It is estimated that the House of Lords cost £100million a year.

Over 240 peers never attended or voted in the House of Lords.

The  Mail on Line revealed that peers who never spoke in the House of Lords claimed £1.3million expenses last year.

All this monies mentioned in this articles could improve the economy and help the hard-up public. These Lords and Ladies bound to be all millionaires and billionaires and therefore do not need to grab more money.

David Cameron at his election campaign promised to reduce the House of Lords which could be part of him winning.  The moment he won he disregarded his promise, like so many others, and added another 45 to the list. At the moment there are 868 Lords and Ladies.  It is the second biggest chamber after China which emphasizes the madness. China’s population in 2013 was 1,357 billion.

The House of Commons increases just as fast only the public is not aware because it is not so obvious..  PM David Cameron keeps splitting the constituencies into two to give his pals a constituency. By now the UK has 650 MPs.

The peers are entitled to £300 a day if they attending; but auditors discovered that they received £300 and were not even there and others did not receive the payment who were there. The Daily Mirror also caught Lord Hanningfield clocking in and left soon after.

Furthermore, the Lords are also entitled to receive £150 per day without even turning up. It also can be added to travelling expenses when they visit all over the globe.  120 peers cashed in on it legally and the total amount was £112,950 for the last year and all on taxpayers’ money.

Since the attendance record is so badly recorded by the Parliament clerks, Lords bosses are planning an electronic system to accurately record the attendance. Will that ever come about?

ON AN AVERAGE WORKING DAY - HARD AT WORK AT £300 PER DAY
By now these honourable Ladies and Lords are quite a number who were not honourable. There were fraudulent claim of expenses, also imprisonment, one was caught with a hooker and snorting coke and so on but none of them were expelled.  It certainly tarnished the reputation and people demanding to “get rid of them”.

Most of them spent freely without any thought to the taxpayers who are a great majority, on starvation, homelessness or can not afford to heat their homes adequately
One example, Baroness D’Souza is paid £101,664 a year for her largely ceremonial role.  She spent £26,000 on a ten-day trip to the Far-East all on taxpayers’ expenses.  She claimed to be an ambassador for the Lords; another £4,267 for a two-day trip to Oslo.  Her taxi expenses even out-strip the Common Speaker John Bercow who charges for £172 for a 1.4miles to Carlton Terrace House.  Baroness D’Souza spent £259.20 for the same distance to Buckingham Palace for a state banquet and kept the driver waiting to take her home.

The Daily Mirror is running a campaign to axe the House of Lords. Although 10,000 readers signed it but according to the disagreement with the House of Lords there should have been hundred times more. Evidence shows that the British public increasingly calling for the abolition of the House of Lords. While David Cameron keeps adding more of his friends and Tory donors to the House of Lords therefore the demand for abolition will increase.

Even Tory Boris Johnson calls for a voluntary euthanasia in the clinic “Dignitas” in Switzerland.  Speaking on LBC radio he said: “Something radical needs to happen there – in the sense of pruning. There are a great many of these geezers and women who don’t actually do anything much at all. They take the money – and they don’t do much.”

He added: “Elderly peers who don’t turn up should be encouraged to use recently introduced rules which allow them to retire on age or health grounds. The whole thing has got completely out of control.”

Mr Johnson is of the opinion that it should be cut in half to “about 400 legislators.”  However, the next minute he stated that the Prime Minister was right to add 26 Tories, 11 LibDem and 8 Labour new to the House of Lords. He said: “The Government has got to be able to get its business through.” He also did not deny accepting a Lordship.  Another hypocritical Tory.

On record it cost us £1.3million a year for the lavish eating facilities and 17,000 bottles of champagne were consumed in the last five years. Did they last five years?

HOUSE OF LORDS OVERCROWDED -- Updated 5 Oct., 2019

UPDATED: 5 Oct., 2019 --  The UK has now the second largest Government after China which had in 2013 = 1,3 billion people and UK had 64 million people.

UPDATED:  27 August, 2015 --   David Cameron nominated 45 new peers. There will be  26 Conservatives -- 8 Labour -- 11 LibDem -- the total will be 826
The House of Commons has 650 MPs. For a small country like the UK it is well over the top. Surely, the USA has not as many in their government and it is half a continent. It is pure madness and every year there will be more Lords and Ladies nominated and costing the taxpayers a fortune. Something has to be done.

UPDATE: 23 November, 2014 --  It is sheer lunacy to have 800 lords and there will be even more every year.  That is the place where austerity should start. The most would be 300 Lords more than enough to  decide and approve a legislation. The Lords on the floor can only vote for it the once in the so called balcony can not even vote but charge £300 a day plus expenses. It is nothing but a waste of taxpayers' money and filling           multi-millionaires pockets even further.

UPDATED:  11 August, 2014 --- Another 22 newly knighted members had been added. The majority were Tories. Only three from Labour. This will unbalancing it even more. At the moment there are 100 more Tories than Labour. The tactic is that if Labour gets into power the House of Lords will vote against legislation which would improve the working man's life and also to show up Labour being useless.

Britain was the proud birthplace of democracy. After Oliver Cromwell, in the Middle Ages, overthrew the monarchy and declared Britain a Republic it soon changed back and established the Monarchy again and a House of Parliament which gave a democratic balance. The House of Parliament divides into the House of Commons where public elected Ministers of Parliament establish laws and legislation.  The House of Lords are not elected by the public but nominated by the various Prime Minister.  The House of Lords have the final say in passing on a law.

So far it was a well balanced democracy but in recent years there are more and more nominated Ladies and Lords which reach a huge figure of 774.  Last year the PM David Cameron nominated almost 100 people and they became ladies or lords. The nominees are selected from the House of Commons, party donors or celebrities.  These selections are held every year and the Queen knights them as Ladies or Lords.

There was already a great uproar last year when around 100 people were honoured and entered the House of Lords.  On account of that £1million had to be spent on the chamber to make it bigger because it ran out of space already. This unnecessary expense paid by the taxpayers added to the anger of the public. A public who struggles with food prices, lowered wages, increased energy bills, all introduced by the government. The public is forced, by the Government, to live below the bread line and rely on food banks yet there is £93million to spend on the House of Lords.

The expenses of members of the House of Lords are in average £120,000 pa and amounts to a sum of £93million. When they sit a peer receives £300 per day, tax-free, whether he contributes to debates or not.
The new title also gives them an uplift to various executives post.  One Lord was caught signing in and 20 minutes leaving; although he was caught nothing will done and surely he is not the only one.

By now the House of Lords which was once a very respectful institution is becoming undemocratic, crowded with lobbyist and with the only interest in money which buys power. They are not chosen any more for their talent which would contribute to the country. Also one or two newly elected Lords every year would have been fine all those years past.  Now they arrive by the coach loads which cheapen the procedures.

Another condemnation is that Lords who cheated, and were even jailed for perjury or perverting the cause of justice walk straight out of jail and back to the House of Lords. That should never be allowed.  It brings the whole status of being a Lord in disrepute.

Baroness Betty Boothroyd who was the first woman Speaker in the House of Commons has nothing but contempt for the House of Lords.  She points out the PM David Cameron, and other PMs before, nominates people who do his bidding to get a legislation approved. There will be Apprentice star Karen Brady, Mark & Spencer ex-boss Stuart Rose, Hedge fund Boss Michael Farmer or others after donating £6million to the Tory Party.  Baroness Boothroyd does not see them contributing anything to new legislations but vote for the PM who put them there. She calls them “lobby fodder”.

Accordingly the House of Lords is already so overcrowded in spite of having been extended.  There are only 230 red leather benches provided for the lordly behinds. The rest of them have to sit in an overspill pen where they can not add to the debates.  This is another waste of taxpayers' money.

Lady Boothroyd said: “It is so overcrowded that there is not enough space for two thirds of us. It is appalling. There is no commercial enterprise that would put up with what we put up with here.” She recommends a proper reform and a retirement age.  According to Lady Boothroyd at Question Time there are some unseemly fights, competition and resentments.
