UPDATE: 16 April, 2016 - The Schenken rule of free movement in EU is coming undone. Greece, Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy are building fences on their border with army patrolling it. In the last three days 6,000 refugees landed in Italy. Turkey also patrolling its borders.

UPDATE   EU refuses now to blockade the boats of refugees.  How does EU think people and countries are managing this great number of influx  A blockade would deter the Human Smugglers. Australia, Canada and USA does it. 


Why is Europe not closing its borders?  98 per cent are not refugees. They are all young men and have thousands of pounds to give to the Human Smuggling Gangs therefore they are not desperate refugees.

The International Organisation for Migrant revealed more than one million refugees and migrants arrived last year.

The unregulated border crossings are a great temptation for migrants and refugees to come to Europe.  Most of the people are coming from Syria, Africa and South Asia.

But the main reason is, especially in Africa and the Middle East the creation of war. USA is the guiltiest ones in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria dragging the UK and other European countries into it. Now at the height of European border crisis the USA refuses to take refugees and migrants.

It is not the first time in USA’s history. In the 1940’s they also refused entry visas for Jews trying to flee from Nazis Germany; with the feeble reason it would destabilise their Society. The same reason is given now with the new influx to Europe. Apparently it is all right for starting rebellions in those various countries but when the backlash comes American does not want to know.

Most of the migrants and refugees are crossing the sea to Greece. An 816,752 landed in Greece and 3,995 people and children drowned.

The UN refugee agency UNHCR warns of a further one million or even more will arrive in Europe next year.

Joel Millman of International Organisation for Migration, said: “We never thought it would reach this level. We just hope people are treated with dignity.”

On a whole it is a fair comment but there has also be said that the migrant and refugee have also treat their new country with respect which is, in quite a number, lacking. There were reports that a large number of people are only attracted by the benefit payments, especially in the UK.

The director general William Laey Swing added further: “It’s not enough to count the number those arriving, or the nearly 4,000 this year reported missing, or drowned. We must also act. Migration must be legal, safe and secure for all, both for the migrants themselves and the countries that will become their new home.”

The new figure showed that 150,317 migrants arrived by sea in Italy. Further 34,215 used land routes.

The overall total of “irregular” migrants was more than four times the number recorded during 2014.

A Tory Home Office minister warned: “That failed asylum seekers who ” intentionally” put themselves into poverty by refusing to return to their home countries should not receive any financial support.”

Lord Bates, speaking in a House of Lords debate on Government plans to tighten the immigration system said: “It is wrong to spend million on people refused asylum because they face no danger in their country.”

Under the new Immigrating Bill, after their appeal rights against are finally refused, the asylum seekers will now have their support of basic shelter and around £35 a week withdrawn.

The support cost the Government an estimated £73million in 2014/15.

During the Bill’s second reading in the Lords, the minister said: “Local authorities do not have an obligation to accommodate illegal migrants who intentionally make themselves destitute.”

LEVY ON COMPANIES HIRING NON-EU WORKERS

This must be a joke? David Cameron copies a pledge from Ed Miliband, Labour’s manifesto.

Government is planning to bring a levy when hiring non-EU workers, funding apprenticeships.

This has to be seen to be believed. Do not forget companies' directors are mostly Conservatives and many and many of them donors.

At the same time he promised, mind you it is another promise, to invest the money into more places of apprenticeships.

Shadow Immigration Minister David Hanson said: “It’s good the Government has finally listened to the calls we’ve made for years to use British skills first. Indeed, when called about for companies employing skilled migrant to take on an apprentice. It’s good to see David Cameron agrees with us.”

Directors of various companies complained about the extra cost. The Institute of Director criticised it as “tax on employing people from abroad.”

Director –General Simon Walker said: “This seems particular odd given how depending the UK’s economy is on international skills and expertise.”

Migrant Advice Council trying to dampen down on non-EU migrants and set up a package which includes the new levy. However, now comes the contradiction. At the same time the government could also raise the number of non-EU nationalities that need to earn, will be given a visa. This politic looks like taking peas out of one pot and put is in another.

David Cameron is desperate to show that he is bringing down the immigration which is a problem at the moment but will this really bring the result?

Katja Hall, department director-general at the CBI, said: “Stopping high skilled workers coming to Britain could damage the economy.  We understand the public’s concern around immigration but limiting highly skilled workers coming to the UK is not the answer. They bring their skill and ideas to this county; pay their taxes and boasting growth.”

MIGRANTS IN CALAIS, FRANCE - Update 29 March, 2017

The situation is still as grim and dangerous for lorry drivers and holiday makers despite burning down the camp. Migrants did not go  away but went into the forest camping. The root of it is the USA who have invaded Syria fighting a war since 2011 supporting ISIS through Saudi Arabia supplying weapon at the same time. UK joined in in fighting and supplying weapons to the Saudis.

Home Secretary Theresa May announced a 'Secure Zone' for Lorries is to be established. No more details were given but the lorries will be away from the open roads where migrants attack them.  It will be a space for 230 lorries and a two-and-a half mile long stretch.

From the end of June till now 8,000 migrants were prevented, partly due to the French Ferry Strike.

Would it be wrong to assume there is more than just benefit behind that migration.  Cameron should close the borders.

These are all young, well fed men, no hardship obviously. The drivers said that their knives as so sharp you could shave yourself with. They throwing stones and rocks at drivers and police which had been dramatically increased. According to drivers they are as ruthless as you can et them. Could there be more reason to flood the UK with these immigrants? They do not look like desperate people.

The situation in Calais, France went on for many years and it is known to the Government in France and French police but nothing was done, drastically, to stop it.

Now it has grown out of proportion and will increase further. It only was brought fully into the press when 65 migrants were found in one lorry.

As one truck driver stated:  “It is a war zone there.” They all have weapon such as knives, baseball bats and some have guns. They have no concern to stab or beat somebody up.  Their intention is to open up and they mean it.  

A great number of drivers fear for their lives and many thinking of giving it up rather than losing their lives.

 

All this time it was hardly mentioned in the press what these drivers face. After the incident of 65 in one lorry the press seems to focus on the problem and pressure the French Government to increase the police force or army in Calais.

Apparently there are 3,000 migrants sleeping rough at any one time.

When the lorry slow down or are at a stand-still because ar the bottle neck ahead of them to go on the ship; it is that moment when they break open the door at the back and jump in by the dozens.

A video was made last Sunday which shows the hordes swarmed around the lorry but not a French police in sight.  The lorry drivers stated the damage they cause runs into hundred of thousands of pounds.

It is well known amongst the migrants from all over the world that the UK is a haven for benefits. Once over here they can establish themselves and then bring over their families.

French people, not the police, smashed up a camp in Paris.  Migrants camp there before they move on to Calais.

It is rapidly coming to a crisis because truck drivers started to refuse to go to Calais.

A major haulage group pointed out that the freight carriers find it too costly because of the damage the migrant cause and most of all the drivers fear for they lives.  

When they break open a truck with food they do not care but spread themselves all over it and contaminate it.  The freight company loses hundred of thousand of pound, some times £1million, because the supermarket will not accept it and it has to be destroyed. Eventually, it could cause food shortage. 

  

Even the town Calais is under siege because battles break out between gangs trying each to get the best route to the UK.

Many truck drivers trying to avoid Calais and take a round-about trip which costs time and money.

Calais copes with 9,000 trucks a day, in and out, of the UK. Even the going out of the UK trucks are attacked by people who want to go back again.

The haulage companies warned that it can get very serious if nothing gets done. Some drivers could be killed or seriously injured. It is just a matter of time.

On arrival in the UK the drivers have their lorry thoroughly checked by border guards because if they get caught with migrants in their vehicle they get heavily find even if it is not their fault. £2,000 per migrant just to prevent drivers to co-operate. 

The hold-up also can cause late deliveries of parts necessary for manufacturing. If it is not on time, a cancellation of shifts could be the result of it.

The European haulage companies are already received refusal to go to Calais when their drivers can go to any other European country safely and not so costly because of the damage.

It is amazing that over the last few years no attempt had been made and the Border Agency, a contractor, had been knows for carelessness. Home Secretary Theresa May cancelled the contract and brought it under her control, named now Border Force but it did not make any difference.

Last yea, the chocking news was, officially, 250,000 migrants came to the UK; after an earlier promise from David Cameron that he would cut it down to 100,000.  Of course, it is not known how many illegal migrants came.

The source of the trouble is that organised gangs operating and they increase year by year. It is no doubt a lucrative business for them. Even in Calais they are so numerous and built ghettoes and by one account people get killed every night.

It is an unacceptable situation on both sides and hyped up by unscrupulous gangs who make billions of pounds.  There are reports that a journey to the UK costs anything between £1,000 and up to £10,000 pounds.

It is baffling that the migrant claim they are hard up and starving but the entire pictures shown they look well fed. It is also to wonder how they can afford these large sums of money; it must be huge sums in their currencies. It all does not add up.
