CHANCELLOR GEORGE OSBORNE SPOKE OF INFRASTRUCTURES

IS IT ANOTHER MIRAGE?  OR WAS HE
  TALKING ABOUT THE HS2?

Chancellor George Osborne gave again a great speech at the Nation Railway Museum at York, of all places. Let’s hope all his promises come true.

He has new plans now and will establish a National Infrastructure Commission. Another body which will have to be paid for by the taxpayers.

Mr Osborne said: “We haven’t done enough of that in our country in the past. And as a result British people have to spend longer than they should getting to work:  they pay more than they should in energy bills: they can’t buy the homes they want, all because of the failure of successive government and the society that elects those government – to think long terms.”

Sounds impressive but when you look at it, it was Thatcher who ruined the country and ended up with five million unemployed. Labour pulled it out of the mud and now we have Tories again running the country into a standstill with their endless cuts.

George Osborne added:” That has started to change. New railway links are being laid, new roads are being built and new broadband is being installed. Britain has rediscovered it’s ambitious and we are thinking big again.”

The only project most probably will succeed is the Tory’s beloved H2S
If he meant what he said why was the £36billion modernisation project of the Northern Railways cancelled?

The commission will oversee a ‘promised’ £100billion spend by 2020.

Their priority will be linking big northern cities with London. Doesn’t it smell of H2S?
George Osborne had a 5.4 percent fall in infrastructure project investment since he became Chancellor in 2010. He announced several sales of assets to finance the bill of the projects.

The National Infrastructure Commission will work independently in areas like Transport, Energy, communication and Flood defences.  It will collect evidences and issues reports.

Labour’s Shadow  Chancellor John McDonnell said that while he supposed to establish of a commission, it would be ineffective unless the government commits the necessary funds to infrastructure projects.

Andrew Andonis will be head of the commissions and Michael Hesseltine.

Mr McDonnell added: “But the reality- you can set up these commissions but unless you commit the finance of the projects themselves they’ll simply produce reports that gain the dust of ministers’ shelves. That is the problem under George Osborne infrastructure spending has declined even further every year and his current Charter for Budget Responsibility is to decline even further we are just not matching our European competition, which means in the long run, we will not be able to compete in a global market.”

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT- Updated 17 Sept., 2015

.
LATEST NEWS:  17 Sept., 2015  --
The Government trying to put through a bill that anyone wanted information have to pay up to £600.  It is a typical sneaking way to cut down Freedom of Information, get some more money and mainly to cover-up.

Well it was to be expected. Too many times PM, Ministers, Chancellor and Depart of Work and Pension Ian Duncan Smith sat there with red faces and if they could not manage that they tried to whitewash it.
.
The last straw was the revelation of the British Pilots bombing Syria. The Prime Minister knew about it since September 2014 and tries now to soften the blow with the excuse they were flying under US operation. As if that would make any difference to the IS if they seeks revenge.

Does the Prime Minister not think and care about the people who could face bloodshed on the street of the UK?

Apparently he does not.

This Government was also supplying chemicals to the so-called “Freedom Fighters” who were infiltrated by the Al Qaeda and eventually grew the IS. These chemical were to enable them to produce chemical weapons. It came to a head in 2013 when a chemical weapon exploded in Syria.

All the various secret and sly doing were expose by various sources. Now Freedom of Information could be curbed to prevent further information to reach the public.

The Guardian reports:

Mathew Hancock, Cabinet Office Minister, laid a statement before Parliament outlining details about the five-person commission that would be asked to decide whether the act is too expensive and overly intrusive. Members will include Jack Straw, former foreign secretary, who is already on the call for the act to be re-written. Straw is still the subject of FOI requests over the rendition of a terrorist suspect during his time in office.

Lord Carlisle of Berriew will also sit on the committee. He accuses the Government of  “a criminal act” when it published stories using National Security Agency material leaked by Edward Snowdon. The committee’s other members will be Michael Howard and Dame Patricia Hodgson and it will be chaired by Lord  Burns.

The act of Freedom of Information was introduced by the Labour Party which is already a sore spot with the Tories. Furthermore, it was noticed PM David Cameron and his disciples can not face the truth to be given to the public. It is certainly a complete controversy to curb or even complete close the FOI when David Cameron announced, previously, that his Government will be transparent, another broken promise.

Freedom of Information will supply information as long it does not cost more £600 when it concerns a case of the government department and £450 for another public body. In view of this the excuse of costing too much could not be raised but they will.

It also did not make friends, in many corners, to lose the legal battle to stop the publication of Prince Charles’s letters.

Under the Freedom of Information act is an exemption for most internal civil service advice but campaigners fear it will be completely closed down and then kept for 20 years under a blanket ban.

Ministers demanding a reform because they fear exposures pf their internal memos. This Government seems to be nothing but reforming and every time it ends up in a bigger mess.

To me it looks like to keep everything under the table like bombing Syria despite the majority of Ministers voted against it or the revelation made by Edward Snowden.

Information Commissionaire Christopher Graham said: “The act is not without it critics but in providing a largely free and universal right of access to information, subject to legislation exceptional, we belief the freedom of information is fit for purpose.”

ECONOMY SLAMS FROM 0.6%TO 0.3% GDP - Updated 8 April, 2016

Now we have the worst deficit since the 1950 thanks to the Tories' devastating policies.

UPDATE:  30 Sept., 2015 --  How could any one belief all those smears and lies about Labour's bad economy? Ever since the Tory's economy shows nothing but downward figures. So far the FTSE lost over 1,500 share value since May. Cameron brought nothing to the table but smears and lies about the Labour Party. He would not even disclosed where the £12billion cuts would be. That is how he treated the voters and yet they voted for the Tories or did they?  It is unbelievable.

BUT HE SOON DID

CONSERVATIVE MP FOR

At long last the truth is out and it shows the  real fact of the economy. The Tory-led government has to end their spins of economy recovery.

In the first three months of 2015 the GDP slammed from  0.6 per cent to 0.3 per cent, the lowest since 2012, and proves what had been said all along. As long as there is austerity and constant cuts to benefits and wages capped there cannot be an improved economy. Anyone with common sense can figure that out. Yet the great mathematician Chancellor George Osborne promised another £25billion cuts to the nation half of it on starvation.

Another lie is the unemployment figures falling. Margaret Thatcher already was the master of trying to hoodwing the public by fiddling the books of unemployment. Even with the Tory's invention of zero-hours-contracts which takes the person off the unemployment list but does not guarantee employment. According to reports people were forced into it by threatening all the benefits being cut, not only the unemployment benefit or as it is now termed "Job seeking allowances".

No matter how loyal or not you are to the party but the fact remains that the chart of the Office of the National Statistics are the true picture. How can Cameron and his disciples forever point at the Labour Party's economic. The Tories had no "Credit Crash" which Global, not Labour invented, and no banks to bail out and yet, despite of it all they never went above 0.6 percent while the Labour Party ended with 1 per cent, which soon vanished. They also slammed twice into a recession in 2012.  While Gordon Brown,ex-Premier Minister brought the economy back within a year from -2.5 per cent to +0.5 per cent GDP.

Cameron as a great vote winner promised to let the people buy their council houses. Another idea already used by Margaret Thatcher. She won the vote but the people lost their jobs because she destroyed most of the major industries. People could not pay their mortgages because they lost their jobs, lost their hard saved deposits and their home.

Cameron seems to lose more and more control in TV interviews.  He could not answer the question about the minimum wage. It was forgivable not knowing the price of bread, previously, but not to know the minimum wage is unforgivable as a Prime Minister campaigning for re-election. Yesterday, at a visit to Enfield he named the General Election Day as 9 May but quickly corrected it to 7 May.  It is also notable that he looks more and more exhausted with, by now, two bags under his eyes.  Let us face the fact his team is preparing it all and he only stands and gives the speech.  Yes he has to learn the speech before that; but it makes you wonder how much work he does normally to look all fresh and straight faced?

If I got my opinion all wrong I do apologise.

UK CHANCELLOR GEORGE OSBORNE PLANS £48BILLION CUT 2014 - Updated 2 July, 2015

UPDATED:  2 July, 2015 --
The emergency budget will be read next Wednesday 8 July, 2015 but bet on it it will not all the truth.

Already cuts had been announced to the Northern Railways which were promised a £38billion upgrade and turn it into a Northern Powerhouse.

No cuts to cancellation of the super (white elephant) train HS2. Already at  budget of £50billion and will be finally at £100billion or even more.

Independent Living Allowance which hits the most severely disabled people and their carers.

David Cameron withdrew his promise from the General Election not to cut Tax Credit for low wage earners. Also child credit is most properly being cut. A non-party charity Degree 38 is fighting it with all its might.

David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne are out to get the last penny of the most valnurable and already poor people.

Now they are bakc in power they show their real faces.

UPDATE:  19 March, 2015 -- After all that spin in the Budget the reality will be different as it always was. After every budget the cuts, which they did not mentioned, started.  This budget was designed to catch voters.  Although heavily disguised but it still was obvious.  If voted in, then they show their real face like the last time. It is up to the voters to think hard after five years who to give their vote to.

UPDATE: 7 December,2014 ---  In his Autumn budget he mentioned £27billion but will he stick to it or when they win the next General Election not go back to £48billion  as he mentioned before? The Institute of Fiscal  Study even mentioned he has to cut £55billion. Where do these people think they get it from since everything is already cut to the bare bone is not known?

To crown it all, May had the despicable nerve to authorise it and put it into action on 1 April, 2017; after tens of thousands of people been starving, homelessness, suicides and death from hyperthermia for years.

If all the promises from PM David Cameron fail but the promises from Chancellor George Osborne will not.

According to Mr Osborne the £25billion a year so far is not enough to reach his austerity target. He now supposes £48billion a year, according to the Financial Times. The main areas, it is assumed, are the police, council and defence are the main targets.

So far the government set out a 21 per cent since 2010 and look at the hardship it was introducing to the country and its people. Where on earth will they increase it to 33 per cent? People are already starving surviving only on food banks and if the winter is hard they will die by the thousands because they can not afford to heat their homes.  It is easy to push pencils across accounts books but they have to face the reality and the impact it had already.

PLEASE BE SO KIND AND CLICK ON ADVERTS.  THANK YOU..
===================================================

It is also a fact that with all Mr Osborne’s austerity in the last nearly five years the debts of Britain had increase by £500billion. Would we not like to confront the great Chancellor and hear what he has to say about that? They can not whitewash it with having taken it over from Labour. It is £500billion since 2010. What happen to the books with all the cut backs and trying to save?

It will end like at Margaret Thatcher’s time. There were rows of shops closed at the High Street. Streets not swept and parks neglected.  It still was not as bad as it is at the moment. There were still no food banks for desperate people having to go to. Even the food banks have to cut back the size of parcels because there are too many people to  be helped..

All this while this government created 4,700 multi-millionaires and 95 multi-billionaires with an average of £95billions. The gap was never so wide since the Victorian times.

Another report states that since the council had to cut back they cut back on the most vulnerable people, the Old Age Pensioner’s meal-on-wheels. If that is not a crime for one of the richest country in the world, what is?  Yes,  you read right Britain is on the 6th place still in spite of PM David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne trying to brainwash the public.

Especially the Old Age Pensioner should be dreaded right. They sacrificed so much for the country of which Cameron and Osborn and their “Elite” have no idea.  All their lives they swam on top of the fat skimmed off the back of hard working people for whom they have no regards.

A government which does not respect their elderly generation is no good. They even cut the £140 Winter Warm payments. But at the same time reduce their fatcats taxes. They literally take the food out of the mouth of old people and give it to the already super rich. It is not only the meal-on-wheels but they are also very lonely and the visit provides them a little break.

In the North East were poverty is most only 25 per cent of councils provide still meals. In the North West it is 48 per cent.

NEW CT SCANNERS COPE WITH OBESE PATIENTS

In spite of all the warning from doctors and experts but obesity is rising whatever the reason. The call of hospitals having to buy new scanner to cope with obese patients is on the increase.  The new CT scanner has almost five times the X-ray power of normal machines.  It has the power of 240KW as to previous machines of 50KW. It is necessary for doctors to receive a good image.

The maximum weight it can cope with had increased from 160kg to 300kg. The board has changed from 70cm to 80cm.  The machine has also to improve its lightening speed   because obese patients can not hold their breath as long as other patients.  The cost of one of this new machine is £1million each.

==================================================

Russell Lodge, business manger at Siemens Healthcare providing these machines to the NHS said: “The number of bariatric (obese) patients referred for CT scans has more than doubled in 125 years and is predicted to go on rising.”

Statistics show that over 64 per cent of adults in England are overweight. Apparently the North East has the highest admission to hospitals for obesity. One reason for the highest obesity located in the North-East is high unemployment which is purely the fault of this Tory-led Coalition and Margaret Thatcher who closed down mines and shipbuilding industry.  Naturally unemployed people sit about more and eat more.   The treatment for over weight problems costs the NHS £5.1billions a year. If this money would have been invested into industry in the North East is would have produced taxes instead of unemployment benefits.
What kind of Chancellor is George Osborn who cost the economy £240billion with his stupid austerity.

Tam Fry, National Obesity Forum, said: “The rapidly expanding size of CT scanners is shocking but sadly, not surprising. As a society, we have allowed people to get fatter and fatter. This is not about blaming individual patients, because every one’s circumstances are different. But it is absolutely tragic that as a nation we are becoming so fat we have to redesign medical equipment.”

Due to the increase obese patients the hospitals also had widen the corridors and larger doors fitted.
Generally CT scans use X-rays and computer to produce a detailed image of your body. The images called tomograms are more detailed. The produced images of the inside of your body are used to diagnose cancer, bone conditions, heart conditions and injuries to organs.

The first commercial CT scanner was invented by Sir Godfrey Woodsfield in London.  It produced the first brain scan in the world in October 1971.

UK TREASURY DEMANDS CORPORATE GIANTS TO SPEND THEIR £500BILLIONS update 6 Dec., 2015

TREASURY CHIEF SECRETARY

DANNY ALEXANDER
UPDATE 6 DEC., 2015 That happened in 2013 how much more will they have now and they could invest it to create jobs?

But money was available for war in Syria costing £500million for one mission

The head of UK’s Treasury Danny Alexander will demand that the corporate giants spend their hoarded billions. It is assumed they are sitting on £500billion. This incredible amount was built up to cushion them from an impact of a recession

That is were the real problem lies.

If they followed his advised it would have saved the economy and people would not have to starve, be homeless and committed suicide.  The corporate giants would have more profit because the workforce would be in full swing.  There would be less unemployment benefit to be paid.

What kind of politics do the Tories have? Just piking up money in their tax haven and let the people starv, get homeless and commit suicide..
.
Mr Alexander pointed out that they should be committed to invest to encourage a recovery of the ailing economy.  It is surprising that the Treasury noticed now the huge amount of money which could have been invested all the three years to prevent such devastating pressure on the general public.  To run a country down to such an extent that people have to bring back Pawnbrokers, Food Banks and some were forced to steal food to feed their families is a crime in itself.
All of a sudden Chancellor Gorge Osborne noticed that he received a 39 percent increase in stamp duty in one month which enabled him to reduce the public borrowing by £1billion. This again occurred out of the blue, no way.  It also raises the question about the other months, what happen to all the money received before.

All these sudden action smells to clear the books to make them look good since the general election 2015 is coming soon. Doubtfully the public will  forget no matter how clean the books are and the economy suddenly becomes back to normal.  Those three years in which Prime Minister David Cameron and Chancellor George Osborne almost squeezed the life out of the poorest families can not be forgotten.

They went far too far and now again let the energy giants get away with blue murder. Last winter with the increase of gas and electricity people already had to decide whether to heat the home or buy food which is incredible in the 21st century and should have never happen. No with the new almost 10 percent increase on top of it one treat to think what will happen.  Yet David Cameron and George Osborne dived like a U-boat and not one action to pressure the energy giants.
