MAY IMPROVING ECONOMY ANOTHER LIE Update 25 July 2020

Update 25 July, 2020 - This article proves that economy was bad for a long time and not just due to CV19 lockdown. Therefore, its feared, Johnson will the collapse of the economy blame on CV19. Admittedly it didnt help but already in June 2019 it showed a deficit and ever since we never saw another report which doesnt hide the facts but tells it.
Johnson and his gang will not accept that Austerity kills the economy. If you havent got the money even for food or pay the bills how can you buy anything else which eventually effects retailers and manufacturer. Its as simple as that!

PM May and her Tories keep praising that the economy is improving. The reality shows a different picture.

It had been forecast that 60,000 shops will close and 300,000 staff redundant by the end of 2018 or 2019.

The devastation in British high streets are destroying whole communities. It is hard to tell what is the real reason behind it? The fact remains that if you cut benefits, keep wages low eventually people are forced to stop buying. The result is shop closures, manufacturing slowing down and redundancies which again comes back to less buying. It is a vicious circle with a downward spiral effect.

It isn’t rocket science and everybody can figure it out. So, why is the government not listening to the devastating results and still hell-bend on further cuts?

At first it affected the small shops in the High Street which closed-down when Austerity was introduced in 2012. Now, in the last year the big corporation and supermarket started to lose. Despite of it all, May introduced a £12billion Welfare cut and £16billion council cut.

The effect came before Christmas when it is always a great boom to the economy but last year it was not.

To add to the disastrous situation already, Bank of England increased interest rates to 0.5 per cent which increased lending, mortgage, prices in supermarket and rail fares.

It hit home; consumer stopped spending on Christmas presents.

The result is that ToysRus faced bankruptcy and saved themselves by closing 26 branches.

Moss Bros. issued profits warnings.

Thomas Cook closed 50 travel agency branches.

Debenhams had a drop of 2.6 per cent during Christmas.

Lloyds Bank closed around 800 branches in 2017.

Marks & Spencer non-food sales dropped by 2.8 per cent.

House of Fraser requested store rent cut from their landlords because of low Christmas business.

New Look fell on hard times and is still in trouble.

Big retailers stated that they surviving a worse time for 40 years. They also pointing out that the Government is not listening and adapting a policy which helps retailer.

The fear is real that the High Street as we know it will be soon lost and with that the community.

One backlash on retail and the High Street is the Internet. People are so pressed for time that they buy a lot from the Internet. It is understandable and very convenient but the disadvantage on the environment is an increase of delivery vans, traffic jams and pollution.

It is now up to the Government to find a solution to improve the problems. May can’t keep on putting her head into the sand much longer and never give a solution at PMQ and flapper about anything else but give an answer or quote false statistics. 

LOST DEMOCRACY

SUMMARY Losing or have already lost democracy? When May signed the "Enabling Act" in 2017 she joined other dictators Trump, Erdogan, Mossadegh, Hitler.

The recent written “repeal Bill” seems to have too many restrictions the  on rights of British people but too many legislations restrict the Freedom and Democracy.

Although many newspapers and articles seem to have protested but the new repeal bill was voted in at the second time presented in the House of Commons.

It was a surprise that MPs did agree with it and another surprise the DUP voted against it joining the Labour Party. DUP is a coalition with the Tories but seems to vote rather with their conscious.

Having a lot of political turmoil all over the world the full impact of the repeal bill did not fully hit the public, including me, although a lot of warning signs were put out.

When I saw the above picture it hit me. Although, I thought it was a bit stretch too far. Later on, when I thought about it, it occurred to me that all total power grabbing people started quietly.

There is Hitler still spoken mostly about. He was just a soldier in the first WWI; came from an average family with no fortune behind them; Germany had the biggest inflation in history.  He got himself noted with his brown-shirted followers and big lies and walking out every time they should have voted in the Reichstag.

However, the main question remains, where did he get these massive sums of money from to build up a totally crashed economy and overnight? Yes, he started the Autobahn but it needed money which was not there because of inflation.

Some powerful, rich people or organisation must have encouraged Hitler, knowing very well he was mental, damaged by gas from the WWI. One was always named was Ford.

Looking at Hitler and the other dictators, it shows that they were all power-mad people and done anything to get the total control with that fact it does not seem so impossible in the UK. They all had a group around them encouraging that person and fearing to lose their own grip on power at the same time. 

Therefore, it seems real that democracy has gone and PM May and the Tories did grab the full power if the bill gets the majority votes the third time. At the moment, Tories have a small majority over Labour. PM May bound to make sure they all vote in favour to keep their grips on the country.

After all, she let the £12bn Welfare cut, on top of all the hardship already existed, go through and it came into power on the 1 April, 2017. The full devastating impact has not shown yet; although 4,000 disabled people starved to death or committed suicide. She cut the winter fuel payment for pensioners although 40,000 died last winter of hyperthermia. They were scared to heat their home properly fearing a bill they cannot pay. 50,000 disabled people’s benefit was stopped for six months although the court stated it is illegal. 60,000 adapted cars for disabled people were taken off the road.

Trussell Trust the biggest food bank organiser was screaming at the Government to stop austerity because they can’t cope much longer, 1 million food parcel in 2016 and rapidly rising.

Starvation, homelessness, EU lowest wages, financially deprived schools, NHS and councils adds to the picture of PM May and her government ruthlessness and tyrannical rules while her friends became the richest in the world since 2010

Looking from all angles, it does not seem impossible for May to be the next dictators.

Some newspapers already labelled her a tin god dictator.

TORIES LOOK INTO YOUR MIRROR

SUMMARY and what do you see? UK is the second largest arms dealer in the world. The largest is the USA. No wonder these two stick together!

Every ordinary man and women would agree with it but the politicians who are never at the spot of bombing and destruction. They are safely away, living a life of luxury, playing armchair generals and couldn’t care less how many innocent lives get destroyed as long it is profitable for them.

USA are masters of ruin and destruction with a record of 34 countries illegally invaded since the 50s with the UK supporting most of them.

If that isn’t war crime and terrorism, what is? 

The other point, where is the money going to with all these billions of arms deals, austerity, welfare cuts, NHS and schools cuts, homelessness because people can't pay the rent any more and most of them are working people?

The National debts has increased to £1,8trillon despite of all the cuts. sales of weapons, big companies deals and is the highest for 67 years. What is really going on? What happened to all that money?

Somebody must be siphoning off by the billions of pounds.

The most dedicated Tory could not vote for them and see the country and its people going down. What happened at GE2017? My opinion is that the result was half of it a fiddle somewhere; after all the deprivations imposed for the last six years.

Furthermore, the GE19 has 'won' Boris Johnson a 80 seats majority which highly disputable and given uncontrollable power. It is an open secret that it was a fiddle and coup but no powerful organisation or general public seem to stand up and bring them down.

He messed up Covid and did not a proper organised Test/Trace from January 2020 onwards but handed out untendered contracts to 4 big Corporations costing £22bln but were never followed through and the contracts had no pay-back clause. He did not buy sufficient PPE and Ventilator right from the beginning. So far 81,000 people had to die because of Johnson's disorganised shamble and his friends only cashing in.

 

OBJECTIVE VIEW MAY CORBYN JOHNSON STARMER

SUMMARY  T May resigned and the Tories voted Boris Johnson as PM. It was the worst decision since Johnson was not up to it. All he does feather his friend, family, donors' pocket while general public are starving, homeless, freezing. He managed to win a majority in 2019 due to Tory Sir Philip Lilley's private company which done the vote counting.

Due to total mismanagement by Johnson Covit has the highest number of death = 81,000 so far.

Corbyn resigned after GE19 and Sir Keir Starmer is now Labour leader but moved the party from Left to Right which no opposition of Tories Gov.

My purely objective view of May vs Corbyn is hard to understand that Theresa May’s election manifesto is so negative. She also refuses to meet Corbyn in the traditional TV interview which is not to her and her party's advantage.

Paxman arranged a separate interview with May and Corbyn which was held on 29 May, 2017. According to the press May gave a disastrous performance. She would not answer, directly, questions asked by the audience.  ???

Already she announced cutting Winter Fuel payments for Old Age Pensioners and school meals which she tries to soften the blow with supplying breakfasts. She cost it with 7p which is ridiculous but give her the due she changed her mind about the cost but does not mention a new one. Does it mean three or four cornflakes?

For years and by now everybody is aware of the three million children facing starvation because of austerity and many Welfare cuts. Their parents having to chose between heating or buying food. It has gone to that extent. Even the Government controlled press written about the fear of feeding children during the school holidays because of them not having their school meals.

May must be aware of their desperation and to go ahead to stop on top of it school meals is a crime.

On 1 April, 2017 she allowed a further £12billion Welfare cut which was budgeted by George Osborne. The impact on already great hardship will be unbelievable. Another surprise of PM May agreeing to it and won’t win voters.   

She must also be aware of the desperate plied of heating the homes because of the constant rise of energy tariffs during the last four years, every time 10 per cent. Cameron used to be besieged to stop the six major energy suppliers of increasing tariffs but did nothing as usual when it concerns ordinary people. In winter 2014/15, which was mild in comparison, 40,000 people died of hyperthermia, including many pensioners.

There at least 2,500 suicides because of the disability benefits were cut and/or spare Bedroom tax.

In May’s manifesto, there was no mentioning of drastically increased funding for the NHS to save it and if there would have been the promise it might not have been kept like in GE2010 and GE2015.

There is a long list of hard to understand how Theresa May expect to win the GE2017 when she keeps promising to cut Winter Fuel Pays to OAP; School meals; promising Free Care Homes but between the lines it states for the family having to take out Insurance policies and facing the cost after the person’s death.

After a great protest May introduces a cap but refuses to mention the height or low of the cap and will reveal it after she win the election.

Surely, she and her team must be aware that it is not an election winning manifesto. A question starts to circulate whether she purposely crashes an election win to avoid the Brexit negotiation? It is obvious that the UK is not very popular in Brussels whether it is of Brexit or Cameron and May do not seem to have won friends or negotiations.

Or, as history shows, the Conservatives always run the country into the ground when in power and make their friends rich. When they get stuck at the end they let the Labour win to pull the card out of the mud.

Mind you, Cameron promised a £12bn Welfare cut on top of the already struggling people and won. It was the biggest shock to the public. In my view, I still have my doubts about the win after years of austerity, Welfare cuts and ruining a perfect NHS system since 2010 planning to privatise.

Cameron like May showed always the background with faithful supporters holding up posters but never or hardly showed the crowd gathered to listen. Cameron used to talk, more and more towards the end, about getting a majority vote “to finish the job they started” and looked very wistful. So does May now. What is really going on in the back ground? Obviously, all the major newspapers belonging to five billionaires and are friends trying to boost May’s election win.

According to some rumours but it will not be completely admitted, there are about 20 very dark powers ruling the world. It was even mentioned that they decide, almost decades before, wars and inflations. Is that the answer of the mysterious GE2015 win and even GE2010 after Thatcher’s devastation?

No Way, Cameron with his efforts during his election campaign and previous track record should have won.

BBC and mainly The Sun plus number of other well-known big newspapers trying hard to discredit Jeremy Corbyn even to the extent of twisting his words or printing down-right lies.

At the moment, they are trying hard to establish he was an IRA sympathiser. It does not stick, although he was in close contact but for the very reason to stop the killing, which he is completely against, and bring about peace to Ireland and Northern Ireland. Corbyn and Mo had great influences and manage to achieve the Friday peace agreement which was monumental. Blair just took the glory as he always does.

Previously, they tried to get Jeremy Corbyn sacked with accusation of anti-Semitism which is a very inflammatory subject when started. Mr Corbyn managed cope with and stopped it.

Whether you like Labour and Corbyn or not but you got give them its due. The Labour manifesto has certainly all the points to support and help all the people which are hard-up. Jeremy Corbyn is the only one who quoted where all the money comes from for the extra funding.

Let’s hope the best party wins to stop all that unnecessary suffering. UK is the seventh richest country.

TORIES CARE HOMES FREE WITH DIRTY TRICK

The latest promise to pensioners not having to pay for their care homes and therefore not having to sell their homes has a dirty twist in the tail.

According to an anonymous writer at twitter claiming he is working in the City and got wind of the dirty deal behind the great promise to pensioners not having to pay for their care homes. The twist is that they have to buy an insurance policies but his letter can explain it better

A warning which seems true and well meant. There is never an honest deal and May latest claim is she is honest. Another hollow headline after Equal Society (biggest rich list in the world), Strong Steady Leadership (apart from U-turns), Brexit No Deal Better than a Bad Deal, and now Honest (the only honest person is Corbyn).  

She seems to hop from one branch to another and everyone brakes under scrutiny.

This is not a propaganda for Labour just a write down of facts and a warning to pensioners who planning to go to care homes.

OVER TWO MILLION PEOPLE ZERO HOUR CONTRACTS

SUMMARY  Office for National Statistics revealed 2.8 per cent of all people in employment in the UK are on Zero Hour Contracts, it is at least 900,000 more people.

That is how the Government comes up with a shining number of low unemployment. Put people on Zero-Hours-Contracts never mind if they get any work or money as long they are off the unemployment figure.

A 13 per cent increase for the same period last year. It had to be pointed out that it might not reflect the true picture.

Some people who claim to be on these contracts over a year might not have been recorded on the statistics for some reason or they could have changed their job with zero hour contract and had been registered twice or three times.

The real reason of the Government establishing Zero Hour Contracts is to give  no responsibility to the employers to keep the people employed and cuts them down to aim unfair dismissal.

It had been noticed for a long time that when the Tory Government changes something it is always for their advantage and disadvantage for the people.

People are aware of being down-trodden constantly but can’t do nothing until the GE2017. 

Well the GE1017 brought a very small majority for the Tories and could not find any other coalition but DUP of Northern Ireland with a very bad history.

So far the Tories are still in Government with all the dirty tricks.

 There are overall 1.3 to 2.2 million contracts which don’t guarantee any hours of work in 2015. The new figures for 2016 are being released later this week and will be updated on this blog.

TORIES CLEARED OF GE2015 EXPENSE FRAUD

SUMMARY   IT IS ABSOLUTE INCREDIBLE BUT SO FAR ONLY ONE WAS FOUND GUILTY. TWO OTHER ARE STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.

Today the Crown Prosecution Service stated: “insufficient evidence”.

Let's face facts, to bring it into court the police must have established facts and sufficient evidence . Whom are you trying to kid CPS?

Police is not so incompetent to bring cases without enough evidence because they do not want to end up like in this case but you make them look silly. How must they feel after all the hard work they put in. It must have been very hard to find evidence in a politician's book and being able to produce it.

29 cases had been brought to the attention of the police. At the GE2015 campaign the allegation of not all expenses had been declared and that the “volunteers” were campaigning for the local MP. It was revealed that they did campaign for the Tory MP to win the election and therefore expenses should have been declared which would have brought the total sum passed the allowed total amount. These are the grievances for the police getting involved and handed the 29 cases to the CPS.

Nick Vamos, head of the CPS, announced today: “Under the Representation of the People Act, every candidate and agent must sign a declaration on the expenses return that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, it is a complete and correct return as required by law.

“It is an offence to knowingly make false declaration. In order to bring a charge, it must be proved that a suspect knew the return was inaccurate and acted dishonestly in signing the declaration. (That is a good one as if they would admitted it)

“Although there is evidence to suggest the returns may have been inaccurate, there is insufficient evidence to prove the criminal standard that any candidate or agent was dishonest.”

Isn’t it a contradiction in itself?

He added further: “The Act also makes it a technical offence for an election agent to fail to deliver a true return. By omitting any “Battle Bus” costs, the return may have been inaccurate.”

Tory Party chairman Patrick McLoughlin pointed out that they are pleased with the verdict and they believe it was a case of politically motivated and unfounded complains which wasted police time.

Of course, it was, how else would a true Tory think?

In my opinion, I can’t see the police would waste time on 29 cases if there were not some evidence in the first place.

Another miracle!

One couple came on the BBC stated that they did not campaign for the local MP but for the Tories therefore their expenses should have been declared. They were put up in hotels and travels were all paid for. They admitted that they could not stay quiet and had to speak the truth. After that they resigned from the Conservative (Tory) Party and joined Labour.

Another white-wash! It would have been a surprise to the people if they were convicted of fraud. There goes “strong and stable” Tory Party. At least May dropped “Equal Society” which was just as unfounded as “strong and stable” and “give me a strong hand to deal with Brexit”.

All her slogan ring so hollow you can hear the wind whistle through. Not one solid promise for NHS, schools and Welfare funding although they are hard to belief them any more after all the broken promises from GE2010 and 2015.

PM MAY ELECTION RUN ON TORIES SHAMEFUL RECORD

How can anyone support a party with a track record like that and contemn Labour no matter what your outlook is?

It certainly was a surprise and shock to the nation especially since PM May kept denying it constantly. However, it is not the first times Mrs May or Cameron made a U-turn, sometime within a day or two.

By now it is getting a bit like a revolving door in a hurricane.

What is the real reason behind; we will never know.

Already LibDem leader Mr Farron hinted that he wouldn’t mind creating a coalition. In other words, anything to keep the Tories in power. A few days ago, he was hinting that he is thinking to resign and move back to the Tories. You’ve got to admit it, there is nothing better than a strong, steady character.

There was never a most important time for the people to stand together and stand against all the cuts being made in the last six years bringing the people down to their worst, since the Victorian times.

Don’t listen again to all the false promises like in the GE2015. They promised “NHS is safe in our hands” and a £8billion fund for the NHS. Not only did thy not keep their promise but sold 230 contracts in the NHS to Richard Branson alone. 200,000 new houses to reduce the homelessness, plus an endless list of other promises. The moment they won; all the promises were cancelled.

There are also people who believe if they vote Conservative it would give them a higher status than voting Labour. Well, be assured, if you would meet the real Conservatives they would not look at you twice, apart from election time when they swear to be People’s friends to get your vote.

A fine example is PM May stating she promised to create an “Equal Society” and a few weeks later let all the cuts from Mr Osborne’s £12billion budget go through. The outcome of the impact on top of an already starving, homeless people has to be seen.

The cuts on Personal Independent Payments are already showing. Care workers are leaving by 900 each day and one dread to think the impact it has on the severely disabled and pensioners.

This is not a propaganda against the Tories but the facts speak for themselves. Facts of unnecessary austerity, breaking the NHS, schools, public service and selling big industries which were the Pride of Britain making more people jobless.

At the moment, there are over four million unemployed if you add all the figures together under various headlines to disguise the truth.

Sure. there now will be a tsunami breaking lose how Labour is left-wing and endless other accusations. The left-wing accusation is only established to bring Labour down because Conservatives always feared them as the strongest opposition, more so now because of Jeremy Corbyn. Make no mistake the Tories know that he is a strong opponent because he wants NHS, Schools, Public Service back as it was and cut austerity which would improve the economy. He would also keep his promise.

Jeremy Corbyn is a Socialist who only wants the best for the people like the Labour Party under Mr Attlee who established the Welfare State. Being a Left-wing is just a dirty smear started by Murdoch’s newspaper to help the Tories win.

Why the Tories do not want to see and accept austerity brings down the economy, is any one's guess? Simply, if you have no money you cannot buy goods.

Now the only big fiddle to turn the voting result is, in my opinion, the postal vote. To avoid that please go to the polling station yourself and use your vote.

It is literally life-saving because the country and people are so low down that only a major change can safe them.

DEUTSCHE BANK DOOMED. Update 7 Oct., 2016

Update 7 October,2016 -- Shares dropped down to its lowest lever since 1980. The Deutsche Bank had a dramatic recovery and there are reports that it could cut a deal with the US regulators. The bank received a £10.5billion penalty, which could cripple it, for  allegedly  mis-selling mortgage investments before 2008. Hopes are that it would be reduced down to £4billion.

Deutsche Bank is heading for a crisis. It is Germany's biggest bank. It must be serious because one of the former  Brussels economy adviser was tempted to state that Britain was right to get out of the EU.

Share dropped when the chief tried to reassure investors.

On Friday EU leaders were trying hard to find a way to rescue Germany's biggest financial institution.

The fear is that it could have a domino effect and spread a catastrophe across Europe.

The draconian EU stated that a similar bail-out of the Deutsche Bank by Germany's Government would be illegal.

Professor Brian Sturgess, managing editor  of World Economy and former European Commission Adviser said: "This highlights why British voter made the right decision to get out of the EU. The EU is faced with an impossible situation. The rising probability that Deutsche  Bank will require a bail-out illustrates the contradictions in the EU project."

British people would have voted for a Brexit years ago if Cameron did not constantly avoid a referendum. It must have been for somebody's benefit?

Even now the votes would have been much higher if Cameron and his Tories did not tell so many lies convincing some of his faithful.

What happened when he lost? He did not have the courage to face the music, resigned and shortly after even got out of Parliament. He was a king of false promises all his years as a PM and caused great damage to the country and its people.

To be sure he still cashes in with both hands, left, right and centre like his great pal Tony Blair.  

JEREMY CORBYN DESERVES FULL RESPECT

SUMMARY Most of the people don't know Jeremy Corbyn won the International Peace Prize and no BBC or newspaper reported it. It is the most pathetic act the press could have done apart from accusation of anti-Semitism.

Update 29 March, 2021 - Jeremy Corbyn was as the Labour Leader abused and ridiculed and he took it like a real gentleman. Yet he was and is the best politician. He is always honest, humble and has principles. He lost the GE19 purely to a coup and resigned. He knew that Tories and their donors would never let him win because he would stop corruption and poverty. By now the Tories rode the UK into a Dictatorship and Starmer, the new Labour Leader, destroyed the actual Labour Party within one year.

Update 8 Dec., 2017 -- Despite Mr Corbyn working so hard bringing about the biggest Labour membership; the opposition which does nothing but ruin the country still laughing openly at him.

They do not realise what idiots they make of themselves and show their ignorant manners. Apparently they are told by May to do so and where to stand. What a shambolic Government! May had to resign but with Johnson, PM, it has gone even worse. He only won win a counting votes by Tory Sir Peter Lilley's private company. If that isn't a coup, what is?

They don't realise that the public has the real power and turn more against them and join Labour's Mr Corbyn. After the lost GE19 he resigned and was suspended by his follower Sir Keir Starmer who turned LW Labour into RW. Starmer even withdraw the Whip.

Mr Corbyn deserves the highest respect for standing up to all the abuse he suffered not only from the Tories but also from his Labour MPs. Starmer was one of the backstabber and was chosen by BOD

He is the most honest person and politician and he meant sincerely to improve the life of people without gains for himself.

They should be utterly ashamed of themselves to treat a man like that. Mr Corbyn puts people and their wishes first. What's wrong with that?

All through Cameron belittle Corbyn but Cameron not only being useless but also ruining the UK; Mr Corbyn always showed dignity and respect which is not known to Cameron and his Tories. Mrs May also continues with PMQ's pantomime.

Ever since Mr Corbyn was elected as leader of the Labour Party there was a incredible number of people signing up for Labour increasing membership  by 600.000. It was never heard or seen before which should have given Labour MPs a message.

The Blairites and Tories realised that they had a opposition which they could not handle and smelled defeat.

No sooner Mr Corbyn was in power the backstabbing started. It  mounted and eventually over 150 MPs revolted, resigned and asked for his resignation.

Resignation for what? His policies were stop austerity, privatisation, cuts in Welfare, nuclear weapons especially for Trident, building houses, improve the economy and so on.

All these plans are beneficial to the people but not for the 'Elite'.

Main challengers were Ms Angela Eagle who dropped out and Mr Owen Smith who still hopes to be the new leader.

Mr Smith plans are to remain with EU which costs £19billion a year, agrees with the nuclear Trident programme, HS2, continue austerity, Welfare cuts etc.

Now on the eve of the new result from votes of the new Labour Leadership Mr Smith already hinted that he might have been mislead by his MPs and never wanted to challenge Mr Corbyn. It says everything about his character.

Stephen Kinnock, son of ex-Labour Leader Lord Kinnock,  was wanted by some MPs  to be the next Labour Leader. It explains that Lord Kinnock was continuously criticising Mr Corbyn. In the last week Lord Kinnock kept making headlines trying to turn the tide.

Another one is Mr Watson his Deputy also standing up against Mr Corbyn.

A few months after his election in September 2015, Mr Corbyn had even to take the insult from David Cameron at PMQ when he told Mr Corbyn to resign. Mr Corbyn told him he was going nowhere.
A problem lies with the system, not making excuses. The Labour leader cannot chose his own shadow cabinet. The Parliament Labour Party, a separate body,  decides which is totally wrong after all the Labour leader has to work with his cabinet.

At the moment the situation is that if Mr Corby wins, results on Saturday, he could form a Labour Party with the remaining 150 MPs.

The other 150 MPs who kept stating that they would not work under Mr Corbyn and wanted to form a new Labour Party. All these months since July they kept the pressure up.

In view of the result which most of the people and MPs thinking that Mr Corbyn will win again a change of opinion slowly popping up. MPs hinting more and more they would come back.

Mr Corbyn in his generosity was always stating that he would welcome them back which shows and proves his great personality and should shame the lot. 

Will they be genuine supporter to the Labour Party now or just trying to safe their neck and still work for Thatcherite Blair and the Tories?

NO NEW ATTEMPT TO SAVE BRITISH STEEL Update 24 Jan., 2019

Mirror reports that the Tory Gov. bought not even half the amount of Steel needed from UK.
One good news China cancelled all Nuclear Power Stations to be build in the UK by them. It is crazy, after all the Nuclear Power Station disasters and not only that but producing more Nuclear Waste which bound to end up in Oceans; let us not kid ourselves.

There is no improvement especially since the new PM May signed contracts with China to build two nuclear power station which require 80,000 tonnes of steel. It certainly would have saved British Steel. No word on tackling Tata regarding the 'missing' £500million pension fund to be returned.  

UPDATE:  19 July, 2016 --

So far we have not heard any result. It could be due to the change of Government but it should be urgent since it concerns the jobs and livelihood of tens of thousands of people plus the 'lost' pension fund. Tata should be made to retrieve it. Over £500million do not fall off the desk by accident into the waste paper bin. Some greedy fat cats got hold of it and should be made to pay it back.

The meeting between business Secretary Sajid Javid  and Tata Steel it is hoped to save the British steel industry but he achieved nothing but a good pretence.

Tata's board are holding off their final decision of selling the British arm of their steel manufacturing which was caused by China flooding the market with low price steel.

The major point in all those talks and meetings is the pension pot of over £500million of pension paid by the steel workers has vanished. The Government is now bringing in a law to make the pension fund less onerous.

However, if that is the only answer the Government can give it is not good enough. The workers paid faithfully into the pension fund and for the Tata company it should have been their number one priority that the pension fund stayed untouched. Since it had vanished it should be Tata's responsibility to find it and put it back.  It is also the Government's  priority to make sure Tata does just that. These workers worked hard because steel producing is not an easy job and they wanted to make sure they have a financial free retirement which they deserved.

But as usual the Government is not concerned about the workers' welfare as long as they have their pot of fat which they have.

China has now promised to curb their production of steel by 10 per cent for the next two years. It is good news but the Government should have been there to act much earlier. It should have never come to that. Brussels also failed the people because whole Europe' steel industry nearly collapsed had it not for the countries to nationalise it which the Tory government refused to do.

Already, years ago, the warning light was flashing when SSI's steel plant in Redcar went into financial trouble.  The Government let it calmly go bankrupt and thousands of hard-working people lost their job. These people, were not just ordinary labourers but highly qualified and well paid workers. Where was the Government, always trumpeting caring about "hard-working people"? Apparently the statement is not even their worth of breath.

These workers were there for generation and worked hard every one of them especially in the earlier years when steel production was one of the most dangerous jobs because it was manually. All this did not meant anything to the Government who are swimming in fat as never before.

The reason why they did not nationalise it is because they would not have shares in the steel industry that is how callous they are.

BRITAIN ECONOMIC GROWTH ANOTHER LIE

Tories as always will blame some one or some event for their miss-management. This time it will be Covid 19 for their economic disaster but as this report shows is had began a long time ago, as far back as 2010 when Cameron was elected and introduced soon after Austerity.

Ever since the cuts on Welfare and stop wage increases the economy suffers. People haven't got the money to buy not even the essentials and pay their bills. By now various Chancellors and PMs, started with Cameron and Osborne, screwed down the income and people starving and freezing to death. The streets are littered with rough sleepers. Austerity costs 130,000 lives!!!!

Well before the pandemic broke lose therefore Covid is no excuse for economy crash landed. Admittedly it didn't help  but there again why didn't PM Johnson react in February 2020 to prevent a widespread of the virus. His famous words were "Let the virus run riot" and "heard immunisation". Covid, so far, costs 70,000 lives and a ruined economy and country!!!

UK is one of the top richest country in the world!?!?   

Any one without any knowledge of economy knows that when you cut Welfare and stop wages the economy goes down.  

Britain economic growth is heading for half of the first quarter of 2016, according to  experts.

It looks like 0,2 per cent in the second quarter,  better as predicted but still a slow down from 0.4 per cent from the first quarter, a survey compiler Markit stated.

The service sector index rose from 53.5 in May from 52.3 in April which better than expected.

It helped the composite Index, which improved from 51.9 to 52.8, which includes manufacturing and construction.

Mark it's Chris Williamson who said: "Growth has collapsed in manufacturing and construction, leaving the economy dependent on the service sector to sustain the upturn, though even here the pace of expansion has remained frustratingly weak so far this year,

"An increasing number of firms have cited uncertainty regarding the EU referendum as a factor hurting their business growth in recent months.

"Response to a special question in May showed some 36 per cent of firms reporting a detrimental impact from Brexit uncertainty, with 8 per cent seeing a strongly detrimental effect.

"It seems reasonable to expect this uncertainty to persist and even intensify in June, subduing economic growth further."

No doubt there is some influence from the uncertainty of the outcome of EU referendum but the economy was not strong in the last six years and had two recessions, nearly missed a third one, plus one downgrading of the Pound from the sixth to the seventh place. The last two occurrences were years before the EU referendum was announced.

Norway left the EU in 1993 and is only in the EEA and is  the fifth richest country. 90 per cent of the trade is with Europe.

Chancellor George Osborne's austerity is the real reason, not encouraging manufacturing and construction growth. In March it was announced that unemployment increased by 61,000. March has always been a month when employment drastically increased because of the better weather encouraging building works

Especially in this sector what happened to the promise from David Cameron in GE2015 to build affordable houses to reduce homelessness which would have improved unemployment in this section? 

PM MAY FOLLOWS CUNNING CAMERON - Updated 28 Sept, 2016

Updated 28 Sept., 2016 -- Mr Cameron resigned and left Parliament. The new PM Theresa May is now planning to move the borders of the constituencies. Needless to say for the Tories advantages.

There is a great number of Labour constituencies planned to be wiped off.  Talking about democracy!

Mr Cameron also decided to nominate 40 Tories and donors for the House of Lords. It will strengthen the Tory voting power in the House of Lords and his bills will not be so easily defeated there.

Since the 30 Tory MPs revolted and his mother and her sister were criticising the Prime Minster's fund but cunning Cameron found a new way to smooth the waves.

He released a £300million fund to ease the funding cuts to local governments which go to the Tory run councils.

The only counter attack is to use your vote on 5 May, 2016 Council Election and vote LABOUR as much as possible. There has to be a full stop and a way out.

It is the most important job of this Prime Minister to keep his little flog under his control no matter what it costs because he knows that as long he has their votes he stays in control and being PM

This Wednesday the House of Commons 30 Conservative MPs were prepared to vote against the local government finance settlement.  Would the same result be if the Labour MPs threatened it with it?

Labour analysis shows 83 per cent of the new £300milion two years funding will go to Tory councils.

Surrey ----- £24million

Hampshire -£19million

Hertfordshire - £16million

Essex ------- £14million

West Sussex - £12million

Kent ------ £11million

Buckinghamshire - £9million

Oxfordshire - £9million - Mr Cameron’s own constituency.

The funding cuts have been criticised by the PM’s mother and her sister who stated that it is a “great, great error” to allow 44 children’s centres to close in Oxfordshire. Clare Curries, aunt of the PM, said on ITV News: “That her nephew is a family man who she believes doesn’t want them to be shut down”.

Now there is a newsflash. What about the one million families relying on food banks for years now, to feed their children and parents skip breakfast to give it to them? The situation is so desperate that teachers buying the children breakfast and/or lunch. Never mind about children’s centres being closed.

Where was the family man when receiving letters for years, even from religious leaders, about the poverty, starvation and homelessness in the country and he denied it?

Where was the family man when Disabled Benefit was cut or even withdrawn?  The Independent Living Funds for the most disabled people transferred to the cash strapped councils  which face more cuts knowing very well the council will not be able to cope.

Labour councils have been cut already to the bare bones since 2010. There is no extra funding to avoid closing children’s centres, libraries and elderly care facilities coming from David Cameron mother or her sister. The councils already lost 30 per cent in funding since 2010 and now face a massive 56 per cent over the next five years.

Mr Cameron’s mother and her sister were only criticising him for the Oxfordshire council losing their funding. Typical of that class they were not fighting for the rest of the country which appeared to be the case at first.

It will end like during Thatcher’s time when the country came to a standstill.

Steve Reed, Labour Local Government minister, said: “Cameron has engaged in a blatant misuse of public money in a shameless attempt to buy votes and buy off Tory MPs.”

He added: “The government is covering up where the money has come from and won’t explain why almost all of it is being handed to Tory council’s just weeks before council elections across the country. Councils in poorer areas have suffered much harder cuts since 2010 but they are getting next to nothing.  The Tories have picked millions of pounds from taxpayers’ pockets to buy off their own MPs who faced with a rebellion in the run up to local election.”

The most deprived councils are Middlesbrough, Knowsley, Hull, Liverpool and Manchester and received nothing.

The least deprived are Hart, Wokingham, Chiltern, Waverley, and Elmbridge which received together £5.3million.

Gary Porter, chairman of the Local Government Association, who was made a peer by Cameron last year, said it will go towards easing the financial pressure of local authorities who were affected by the reduction of allocating funding and will ensure that no council will move into a negative grant funding position within the next three years.”

What is that poor guy talking about?

The Rural Service Network includes 150 councils said: “That it was pleased that the government had chosen to smooth the impact of the cuts, the move wouldn’t change the overall position over the next four years.”

Another load of rubbish to put it politely. Do they convince themselves or are they trying to convince the public? Do they really think people are that gullible or could not care less about it?
